One long line from shoulder to ankle, with the skirt cut on the bias so it swings without adding width. The linen is heavy enough to hang rather than cling, and it softens with every wash.
1 more can be cut from what is left of this roll — 3.2 metres, at 3.1 metres a garment.
Size
How to measureSizes struck through have sold out of the cut run. If there is fabric left, we can still make them — choose one to see.
Bias skirt hung for 48 hours before hemming so it settles before it is cut
Shoulder seams taped with cotton to stop the weight dragging them out of line
Hem finished with a hand-rolled edge, 3 mm, no visible stitch from the front
Skims the body, no waist seam. True to size. Length set to your height.
If you are between sizes, send us your bust, waist and hip and we will tell you which to take. Where a size has sold out of the cut run, we can make it for you from what is left of the roll at the same price — the only difference is the wait.
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, line dry. Linen is meant to crease; press only if you want it flat.
The full guide covers washing, pressing, storage and what to do when something tears. We repair anything we have made, for as long as you own it, at cost.
